What A Difference A Drought Makes

City of Yankton and Keep Yankton Beautiful have partnered to install buffalo grass and plan to install fieldstone-lined perennial flower beds in Rotary Nature Area, according to Lisa Kortan, Urban Forester for the City of Yankton.

Lisa Kortan, Urban Forester for the City of Yankton, South Dakota, and her staff have had to spend at least 25% more time watering and caring for plants to keep them alive than the year before, due to drought conditions.
