First Asian Garden For Starters

Lisa Newland of Yankton had a ‘life changing  experience’ when she worked in Taiwan for several weeks last winter. She began a walking meditation to get to breakfast and keep warm and experience the culture she saw around her.

Back home she has incorporated a meditation area into her yard as a place for quiet. She cloistered plants with large green leaves around her meditation space where she says she seeks God’s wisdom.

Also in her meditation area is a fat happy Buddha fairy garden where he struggles on his journey to get to his temple.

Large leaves, herbs growing, warmed by the sun, and trunks of potted plants are part of her meditation space. See her story below and share about your area for quiet reflection or meditation.
