Here’s a twist on learning about plants. A new Otto Ullrich Botanical Laboratory at Mount Marty College is where Professor James Sorenson and his botany students can grow plants for demonstrations and conduct experiments. He shows students his enthusiasm for plants and each is getting direct experience in choosing and implementing a plant experiment. Venus flytraps were used in a student experiment to see if digested flies add to the growth of the plants.
