Autumn: It’s A Wrap!

Welcome to Plant Exchange Blog. We’re about plants of the USDA Zone 4-5a region and people who grow them.

It’s time to plan for late fall yard and garden activity to protect plants from exposure and hungry wildlife. Master Gardener Mary Ann King shows what she does for plants that help them through the winter.

Below is Mary Ann’s photo of her newly planted redbud tree that she wrapped last late fall after leaves fall off and before the hard freeze of winter.
