“Garden Diaries” is a new addition to Plant Exchange. Readers are invited to share short, timely plant-related ideas they are doing or planning and give helpful details in case someone might want to try it.
One of the ideas is to get a jump start on snow peas by planting them in pots when the garden isn’t ready. They’ve been in the soil a couple of weeks with no sign of germination. One title for the photo should be “arrested development.” We’re having an erratic spring with late cooler weather so far. A soil thermometer check of the potting soil might provide help to start this idea!
